Check the vendor requirements for the version you intend to deploy. Account numbers, mailbox size, message volume and other applications affect the resources you need.

Use a supported Windows release. Production deployments may need substantially more memory and storage performance than these minimums.
Minimum software compatibility is not the same as current operating-system security support. Confirm both before deploying.
